Zero Non-Vision in India
Kannoli Tharuvom Foundation, a public charitable trust, was established in June 2025 with the visionary goal of "Zero Non-Vision in India." We believe that no one should suffer from preventable blindness. Our work focuses on bridging the demand-supply gap for corneas, empowering individuals to regain their independence, and contributing to a healthier, more compassionate society.

So Far
In our first 100 days, we achieved a remarkable milestone. We successfully collected 41 pairs of eyes, which enabled us to give vision to over 60 individuals. This success is a testament to the selfless spirit of our community and the dedication of our team and partners.
Awareness: We conduct targeted campaigns to educate the public, dispelling myths and providing clear, factual information about eye donation.
Collection: We operate with a dedicated team and infrastructure to respond to eye donation calls promptly, ensuring every potential donation is a successful one. We work to overcome logistical challenges, such as the critical 6-hour window for retrieval, to maximize the viability of donated eyes.
Collaboration: By working with partners like Arasan Eye Bank, Rotary Central, and the Olirum Erode Foundation, we expand our reach and amplify our impact.

A Vision for
Erode
"Project Kannoli 1000" is our flagship initiative designed to provide sight to up to 1,000 individuals in the Erode district. Our goal is to collect 350 pairs of eyes per year by ensuring a seamless and efficient donation process. We are actively seeking corporate social responsibility (CSR) partners to help us acquire a dedicated vehicle and establish a 24/7 tele-caller service. This will allow us to respond to eye donation calls promptly, ensuring every donated eye is viable for transplantation and transforming potential donations into life-changing realities.
